Как-то много всего на нас обрушилось за эти два месяца. Сесть и спокойно написать в блог было просто нереально. Сейчас тоже вот - есть 20 минут. Постараюсь хотя бы упомянуть основные события.
Somehow, a lot of things hit us during the past two months. To sit quietly and write a blog was simply unrealistic. Now, it the same - I have 20 minutes. I'll try to at least mention the main events.
1) У нас побывал (мой) дядя Лёня
1) We have been visited by (my) uncle Lyonya
2) Мы крестили Захара
2) We baptized Zakhar
3) Мы переехали
3) We moved
Из Вирджинии в Мэрилэнд, чтобы быть поближе к учёбе. Наш старый дом сдали жильцам, вроде ничего ребята. Страшно, конечно, но выбора особо не было. Сами снимаем. Ещё не удосужился сфоткать новое жильё, но скоро. Пока нам нравится.
From Virginia to Maryland, to be closer to Alina's studies. Our old house handed over to tenants, seemingly decent guys. It is scary, of course, but the choice was not particularly ours. Ourselved - we are renting. I did not bother to take a pictures of the new home, but soon. So far, we like.
4) Я сменил работу
4) I changed jobs
Сменил спутники на роботов, вернувшись в свою старую компанию. Там уютно и интересно. Пока нравится.
Replaced satellites with robots, returning to my old company. There, it is cozy and interesting. So far so good.
5) К нам приехали (мои) родители
5) We are being visited by (my) parents
Мама и папа. Из Эквадора. На три месяца. Ура.
Mom and dad. From Equador. For three months. Hurray.
6) Во вторник Алина начинает учёбу
6) Tuesday, Alina starts school
Ну что тут можно сказать... Новая студенческая жизнь. На два года. Надеюсь, что буду видеть супругу хотя бы пару раз в месяц, если смогу выкопать из под учебников.
Пока всё, подробности следуют.
